7-12 months-Previous’s First Deer Is a Heavy 14-Pointer That Got here in to a Decoy

On Nov. 9, Grant and his two sons have been looking from a floor blind on a buddy’s 240-acre farm northwest of Wichita. They’d gotten path cam photographs of Moose that day and knew they have been in the suitable spot.

“We had gotten two path cam photographs, one within the [morning], and the opposite through the afternoon,” Grant says. “We knew Moose was inside 20 yards of the blind once we obtained into it that Saturday afternoon.”

Ultimately, the three hunters noticed Moose stroll away simply 10 yards from them. The buck was upwind, and Grant needed it to note the buck decoy they’d out in entrance of the blind, so he rattled.

Grant phoned his spouse Clarissa, who quickly arrived with their youngest son Callahan, 4.
